Why Choose in-home Therapy?
• Maximize comfort and engagement: Children naturally feel more secure at home, which reduces anxiety and resistance often seen in clinical settings. When a child feels safe, they are more likely to participate fully in activities leading to more productive sessions.
• Real-world application: Patricia design activities around the child’s actual environment such as navigating their specific stairs, getting into their high chair, or playing in their local playground. This ensures skills transfer immediately to daily life rather than being confined to a simulated clinic environment.
• Enhance Family involvement: In home sessions allow multiple caregivers to participate directly, Patricia provides real-time coaching, empowering parents to reinforce therapeutic goals.
• Seamless integration into Routines: Therapy becomes a natural part of the family’s daily life.
• Logistical Relief: It eliminates the stress of commuting. For immunocompromised children, it significantly reduces exposure.
• Holistic Assessment: Seeing a child in their natural environment allows Patricia to observe interactions with siblings, natural play pattens and environmental factors that may help or hinder development
