My name's Tally and Patricia's been working with my daughter Bella since Bella was 6 months old. When Bella was born, she had severe hypatonia. We didn't even know if she would ever be able to sit up on her own. Patricia came into our lives and changed everything. Today, Bella is 5 years old. She can walk. She is starting to run. And she's able to do it all thanks to Patricia. The thing about Patricia is she will never give up. She came in and looked at this baby who very very few doctors had hoped would ever be able possibly even to crawl and said, "We are going to work together and we're going to do this day after day and week after week and if there's any possibility at all, we're going to make it happen." And she did. I can't thank Patricia enough. We owe so much to her and any child would be lucky to work with her.

My child was born premature and he wasn't meeting his milestones. So, we engaged Patricia to help him help him develop his core strength. With her, he learned to move appropriately. He gained stability. He can move each body part independently. He learned to walk. He learned to run. He climbed. And now he's a typically developing child and an amazing athlete actually. And we owe all this to Patricia. and they are super best friends. Patricia is creative in her approach. She looks at each child individually. She sets their goals. She insists on proper form, which I love. And she knows that each child can do it. She's encouraging. She gives her all to each one of her kids. And she sees them. She wants them, each one of them to succeed to their potential. We are so thankful and grateful we found Patricia to help us help our son and she's just amazing. I highly encourage everyone to find a Patricia for themselves and for their children.

my name is Karen and I started working with Patricia for my son, who is now two in May of this year. Um, and he was unable to walk at that time. He was 20 months and we had gone through rigor with early intervention and I was getting super frustrated. So, a friend whose daughter has worked with Patricia for years recommended I reach out to her. We're so glad we did. Her friend said, "Uh, Patricia is tough, but you get results." And we did within a month, James was walking. And now a few months later in October, he is running. He is playing with his peers. Patricia has been so effective and really takes the time to assess the full situation to understand who he is, both personality and also his underlying issues with his core. She has given us so many recommendations to follow up with that home and has brought him up to his full potential. Now he walks the daycare by himself, goes down 200 stairs and now we're working on going up the stairs and he has a great time with her. So thank you so much, Patricia, for everything. you are the best. Thank you.

Patricia is hands down the best PT we've ever worked with. She not only understood exactly what our son needed, she also knew how to bring the parents along and teach us how to help them ourselves. When we would get frustrated or stuck or we couldn't see the way forward, in would come Patricia with just this boundless good humor and patience. Working with her had a lasting impact on our family and we're so grateful for everything she showed us we could do...

Before connecting with Patricia, we had worked with other pediatric physical therapists in NYC (from the city's EI program, in major hospitals, and private care). As soon as we began working with Patricia, it was immediately clear that she is undoubtedly the best of the best. Her extensive knowledge allows her to work easily with children no matter the extent of their physical or behavioral needs. Her approach is a perfect blend of kindness and patience with discipline and dedication. She never gives up and doesn't allow the children to give up either! She is an amazing person and we are enormously grateful to her for everything she has done for our family over the years. Her work has changed the trajectory of our son's life. She has our highest recommendation.”

“Our daughter was born at 28 weeks and diagnosed with cerebral palsy (right hemiplegia) before she turned a year old. Patricia started working with us when Maddie was 15 months old and barely crawling, and Maddie then was walking unassisted by 17 months. PT with a stubborn toddler is no joke! We’ve worked with many physical therapists throughout Maddie’s short life and Patricia just “gets” her better than anyone else. She knows when to change gears, she knows when to push through, and she knows how to get results. Patricia has been so helpful with Maddie’s overall care- giving us questions to ask her other providers, suggestions for orthotics and treatments, and other general advice as we navigate daily life with a toddler with motor delays. She’s a part of our family and we could not be more grateful to her. Patricia is someone you want on your team!”

We highly recommend Patricia Torres. Our child has cerebral palsy and started working with Patricia at around 6 months old. Patricia's approach stood out: whereas other therapists focused on our child's individual areas of high and low muscle tone, Patricia looked at how these areas were interacting with each other, and targeted these issues in a deeper, more holistic way. Now that our child is a little older, we appreciate how Patricia integrates physical skill-building with other developmentally appropriate skills. For example, she regularly holds PT sessions at the playground, which has helped our child gain the confdence to try new physical activities and engage with other kids. Our child still has many challenges, but thanks to Patricia, we now have a walking, climbing 2.5-year-old. Beyond her efectiveness as a therapist, Patricia's years of experience in the NYC metro area make her extremely knowledgeable about resources and services for children with physical and developmental challenges. This knowledge has been invaluable for us as frst-time parents. Her recommendations have helped us and great medical care and get much-needed additional services for our child. In sum, Patricia is more than just an excellent therapist; she's a font of practical knowledge for families with special-needs kids. We can't recommend her enough Marian T.E.

Patricia is an amazing physical therapist who went above and beyond to support my daughter. It isn’t an understatement to say that Patricia changed my daughter’s life. When we started working with Patricia at 8 months old, my daughter couldn’t hold her head up, roll, sit up or support her body weight. Patricia worked diligently and patiently with her, guiding her to reach each milestone.

When my daughter struggled, Patricia thought creatively, pivoted and applied new techniques and strategies to help her reach new goals. She thought beyond her own area of expertise, even suggesting other providers and types of therapies for us to pursue to support my daughter. Patricia helped my daughter gain strength and movement and stamina. Patricia helped her gain confidence. She helped her gain independence. She pushed her and challenged her. She did all of this all while making sure my daughter feel loved and cared for.

Having a child that has health and developmental challenges can feel isolating and overwhelming, but people like Patricia, who really care, make it easier. Patricia is forever a part of my daughter’s journey, and we will always be grateful for her belief and commitment in my child! Marissa NYC Mom
